Haen't done one of these in a while, where I've deliberately tackled a subject who uses a fairly limited colour palette. Anyway, whilst warming up for artworking today, I recalled an episode of Moonscoop's Fantastic Four: World Greatest Heroes where Ronan the Accuser faces off against the Thing and considerably bulks up as the fight goes on.
I probably drew something pertaining to it way back when (we're talking about pre-2012 here so my memory is hazy). In any event, was quite pleased at how this turned out. Been quite inspried by Laurel D Austin lately (Warcraft artist, most recently behind the not-3D-CGI Warlords of Draenor short films)...

Someone stands accused, it seems. Well, I haven't seen any Fantastic Four cartoons
since I was 12, so I guess I know Ronan from other occassional events, like the
Kree invasion in Earth Mightiest Heroes and his role as mayor villain in
Guardians of the Galaxy.... it's interesting where some characters can end up
with in all those different incarnations of the Marvel Universe. And in any case a
muscular body befits him, as he is extremely durable and uses a weapon that
is hard to wield constantly, most likely even made worse since the metal it is
made of must be heavier than common steel, as I assume the energy of an
matter altering device can melt through most metals with easy.
