Colour Study: Agents of SMASH Sauron

So Sauron re-appears in the 18th episode of that silly Hulk cartoon Disney are still airing. 

The main focus was on the Impossible Man but Sauron returns after his debut way back in episode six (he absorbed one of the Hulk's powers then and buffed up considerably).  Sauron absorbs the Impossible Man's power to take down the Hulks (going multi-headed in one instance) but then tries to summon and control giant dragon-esque monster, Fin Fang Foom.  Fin Fang Foom then ends up swatting Sauron away and for all intents and purposes is crushed by him when a (temporarily) giant Red Hulk/Hulk (the Impossible Man merged them both together) throw Fin Fang Foom out to sea.

Needless to say, the usual poor editing, storyboarding and animation made it difficult to determine exactly what Sauron looks like post-transformation so I had to ad-lib a fair bit and adapt one of the few non-face-close-up frames they lingered for more than 0.5 seconds.  Oh well, colour studies are fun for warm-ups for work.  And no, I'm not drawing Fin Fang Foom; awkward character design is awkward.
